The following details apply here. Spiderette on zzhtsteel.com uses one 52-card deck with all four suits. The smaller deck does not remove the need to manage suit changes. The tableau contains seven columns rather than ten. Four complete same-suit King-to-Ace runs win the game.

Seven growing columns

Here are the details for this mode. The opening tableau contains 28 cards altogether. The first opening column contains one card and each following column contains one more. The seventh opening column contains seven cards. Only the bottom card of each initial column is face up.

Twenty-four stock cards

Spiderette begins with 24 cards in the stock. A full stock deal adds one card to each of the seven columns. The final stock deal contains three cards for the first three columns. The stock is used in deals of seven, seven, seven and three cards.

Build down by rank

A single exposed card can land on another exposed card exactly one rank higher. Any exposed card may enter an empty column. A King can enter only an empty column because no rank is higher. A destination card may belong to a different suit.

Move a sequence

A few details help explain this feature. Selecting a shorter matching segment can reveal an available group move. The selected group's leading card determines which destination rank is legal. A movable group must be face up and descend in one suit. A mixed-suit descending sequence cannot move as one group.

Open the hidden layout

An exposed hidden card can create another possible destination. Moving all exposed cards off a hidden card turns that hidden card face up. No separate click is needed to reveal a newly uncovered card. Undo restores a hidden card's earlier state when the revealing action is reversed.

Keep columns occupied

A few details help explain this feature. This Spiderette version requires every column to contain a card before a stock deal. An empty column prevents dealing even when only the final three stock cards remain. A stock deal may interrupt a sequence you were assembling. Any valid movable group can fill an empty column.

Four complete runs

The following details apply here. Four collected runs account for every card in the deck. One run is needed for spades, hearts, clubs and diamonds. A qualifying run contains thirteen cards of one suit from King down to Ace. A complete face-up run is removed automatically from the bottom of a column.

Here are the details for this mode. Replay starts the same Spiderette shuffle again. Hint suggests a legal move without checking every possible future continuation. Undo reverses a successful move or stock deal while recent history is available. A random Spiderette shuffle is not advertised as guaranteed winnable.
